Canadian Warplane Heritage December 6, 2009

Mon Dec 07, 2009 8:52 pm

I was back in Canada last week, and while I didn't get a chance to see the new CHAA Harvard, I did get to stop by CWH. There have been a few new additions to the collection this year.

The Museum has recently added a new Yale to the Collection. 3400 was recently imported from the U.S.

Also imported recently from the U.S. is a CJ-6A. Not quite sure why a CJ in a Canadian Museum, but it is a very beautiful example in a rather striking paint scheme.

Everyone loves a Panda, eh.

The most exciting addition to the collection is a TBM-3 Avenger. Sunday some members of the crew were stripping paint.

The Fleet 21 has recently had some work done on it, and it looks wonderful.

Nice shots! Wish we had more updates and more flying operations from this great museum,
That Fleet 21 almost looks like a Japanese Willow.
