Looking for aircraft IDs and year - Photo of ABQ

Hi everyone,

I just came across this historic aerial shot of the Cutter Aviation / Cutter Flying Service ramp at Albuquerque (this is the Northeastern corner of the airport, where the airline terminal now is) and am trying to identify the B-25, the B-23, the P-38 and maybe even the C-45 on the ramp... and also get a rough idea when the photo may have been taken.

Hmmm...a B-25 with tip tanks, that oughta pique someones memory.

Looking at the large version Ryan that pick-up parked next to the TT fuel truck looks an awful lot like a 1960-66 Chevy. Most of whats parked in the lot are 50's vintage cars but I do see two or three other boxey looking cars that would fit early 60's as well. The Vette is 50's as well. My gut is telling me 1960 to no later than 1963 and I think thats probably stretching it. Hope that helps your timeline.

I would venture a guess that the B-25 may be 41-29784 B-25D ex- N5078N, 2DD, ex- N122B now N2XD, as she had a history I believe of being out west during the 50s through the very early (I believe) 70s. or it could be N37L, both had tip tanks during the 50's until the eighties in so far as these two go. Anyone know of any other tip tanked B-25s?

Ryan, didn't we have a thread on this photo a couple of years ago? I did a feeble search but didn't find anything.

There are two 1962/63 Mooneys parked on the left of the B-25, and the car sitting by itself on the left line of vehicles is an early sixties Corvair.

I love the condition the hangar is in. Most sub-depot hangars had lost their ventilation cupolas by the time this photo was taken. Pretty nice structure for something that was designed to last for four or five years!!

The 2 T-34's there are pretty interesting as well. Didn't realize there were any on the civilian register that long ago.

They are 3 over from the left on the 2nd and 3rd row from the hangar.
