I got pictures of the Frankenscooter too, Rich. Though it was hard to see the airplane because of the grin on Maj's face !

I talked to him today, he's still pumped !

OUTSTANDING!
Can't wait to see it in the air. And after what Rich said, maybe we can have a 3-Ship A-4 Flight in 2011 for the Centennial of Naval Aviation!

Here's a few photos from the backseat of our L-39.

Rick, We had Sid S come up and test fly it then bring it home today. Quite an interesting day. I'll post more of how the day went when I recover from today. Glad to hear another Scooter may fly soon. Who's would that be?

Maj is making us a Fiberglass Mustang Prop w/Spinner to hang on the hangar wall. Were going to paint it like Bald Eagle.
He is one of those legends in the making.
Maj and I were roommates for a while in AZ. A great guy.

There is an A-4 under restoration to fly in the Tucson, Arizona area. Anybody know anything about this one? I think it may be for FHC but I'm not certain.

Awesome A-4!!
"Bonnie Dick" CVA-31 USS Bonhomme Richard, "WELCOME TO THE BIGGEST DECK IN WESTPAC"
CVW-21 (NP) cruise from Jan 26, 1967 - Aug 25, 1967 to Vietnam. This is the only cruise VA-76 made aboard the Bonnie Dick.
Here sister Buno. 148610 aboard the BHR (although the Modex does match records)

This looks to be 148609 on the cat
