CAF Helldiver

It looks as though the CAF SB2C Helldiver is getting a new engine a bit earlier than anticipated. It made a landing at Jackson, MS, with engine problems and it appears that the engine swallowed some FOD thru the blower section.

DZ,

You going to be helping change that engine? Reminds me of when I stopped and helped you and Gary H. when ya'll were changing the engine on the CAF's Corsair back in '88, over in LaFayette. Remember? I was flying my now ex-wife to New Orleans on our honeymoon. Hmmmm, wonder if we'd still be married if I hadn't taken that break from the honeymoon? I remember she wasn't too thrilled with me. Some women just don't understand airplane guys!

Dang, that was a good Rudy Blakey engine too wasn't it?
