it's happening again, i'm not receiving reply notices via my email to threads that i've contributed to or are watching. anybody else having this trouble again?? mods / management i'd appreciate you looking into this snafu again. i was getting email reply notices for a few weeks, now back to nothing.

Make it three. I've recieved no email notifications since my resurrection. Yes, all the proper boxes are checked to allow email notification.

I'm looking into the problem, but at this point it might be a host issue, not a software one. Most ISP's limit the number of emails sent per hour (so far the average seems to be 50). My guess is that between the applications and the notifications times the number of people we are exceeding that and the additional e-mails are going into limbo. This is just a guess so far, I'll let you know if I find out anything more and if I come up with a solution.

I figured out the black dot on the topic seems to indicate a post I replied to. I have been just going down the list and if there is a fresh update on the black dot, I read it.

I just visit at regular intervals and hit "view new posts". The emails mean less than nothing to me personally, but since others are having issues with it I figured I'd weigh in as well.

Goodness Tom, I realize you are frustrated and all, but it's been less than 24 hours since Scott replied this AM to the issue... and does work full-time at another job. Have a slice of pie or two... watch a football game... we're trying over here!

sorry guys, please don't mash me, mash my potatos, it's thanksgiving...... i'm just giving thanks to wix. i apologize for being a nag, i just like to follow up on things with the posts i'm interested in. the management / mods do great work!! p.s. i thought that the tom turkey was spared by obama yesterday, i guess i'm the stand in for his execution

it gives you all the posts were you posted. if one has a orange icon then it has something new... the other one I use regularly is the "View active topics"...
