Good news, local news said pilot and passenger walked away from an engine failure. Plane looked upside down, nose to the ground. Anyone know who it belongs to yet?........John

The local news has Al Stix Sr. talking at the scene of the crash of his Stearman; he shows some facial cuts.
Luckily, he is walking.
I don't know much else about this.

I was out there, and they said his face was cut by brush as he exited the upside-down plane. This is a good safety reminder to be very careful getting out of an upside down plane. We've all heard the stories of students in WWII surviving the crash, then breaking their necks getting out.

Very glad they're okay. That's a reason for a Thanks this Thursday. Planes can be fixed. Be well Mr. Stix (and passenger).
