Boyington starting his acting career. Too bad he didn't have a successful career. It looks like he had plenty of opportunity.

It's good to see him get a bit of public recognition.
Whatever you think of the guy (he had problems...who doesn't?) as a Medel of Honor winner, ace, and Japanese POW survivor, he deserved any respect given him.

I own and fly a warbird today because of Boyington. He was one of my childhood heroes. I know he is not perfect, but if it gets one more kid interested in aviation.....
It's funny that Boyington acted like the sterotype of a fighter pilot ( aggressive, hard fighting and able to spin a yarn), yet you all give him grief.
