Hello All,

Just was wondering what is the most popular seat belt replacement to use in warbirds?

The seat belts and harness I have are beyond repair. I have only two pieces of them. LOL

Hooker 5-points are the only way to go! The Olive Drab ones will blend in if you're looking for a military-ish color for warbirds.

Trey, we should have a whole category devoted to Reg Urschler jokes! Ever heard the one about the Canadian girl who wanted a Mustang ride? If not catch me at an airshow some time.

There is now a company making seatbelts with an internal airbag. Not warbird specific, and I don't know the details, but it is very valuable in a car. I am going to look into it.

Bill-

Are the ones you are referring to similar to the seatbelt airbags that come standard on a Cirrus? http://www.amsafe.com/products/detail.p ... e=business

That looks like the same photo used in the ad that I saw, so it may be the same company. I looked the Co. distributors on the website. I called the one in Grand Junction and at 3:45 pm only got an answering machine. I called Legacy at Denver Metro, got a real person, but he was not sure of the price or the time it takes to install. I am not sure about a Cirrus, I have never flown one.
