Provenance Fighter Sales?

Anyone have any info on Provenance? Their website comes up as "Page not Found" and Google does not have anything on them either.

What prompted the name change? With all the press that Simon got in the past few years, it seems like it wouldn't have been a 'first choice' to change brands by any means.

Simon no longer works for Provenenance and is, I think, co-founder of Platinum Fighters. At least that's what I think he told me when I saw him last.

As bdk's said.

Here's a backgrounder I was recently sent on Platinum.

Platinum Fighter Sales has recently been established to specialize in the sale of quality, historic and collectable vintage and classic aircraft, commonly referred to as “warbirds”.
The company is owned Simon Brown and John Rayner. With a combined experience of 40 years in the classic and warbird market, Platinum Fighter Sales is uniquely qualified to broker, consign, or acquire the aircraft of your dreams.

We are not a volume dealer: we prefer to concentrate on specific aircraft for the discriminating buyer. That said, in the past five years, Simon and John have sold more Spitfires, P-47’s and Corsair’s than any other brokers in the world.
Should you choose Platinum Fighters to represent you in the purchase or sale of your warbird, you can be assured of the highest level of security and integrity in all dealings.

Have a look at the link for the inventory.

HTH.
