Despite the flying and shows being over for the year, that doesn’t mean nothings happening!
Hangar 1 the Humming Bird is having its annual. While the Hind in the background is awaiting engine parts. Hopefully both will fly next year.

Regular visitors may notice some new pictures have been put on the wall in the hangar, they make fascinating viewing

Work continues on the PO2 with the upper main plane having a trial fit.

The rudder has been covered

Work on the Spitfire continues, it’s a work of art. The tail fin is on for a trial fit, when its finally attached it will have the horizontal stabilizers attached as they are easier to fit before the whole unit is attached to the fuselage

It’ll be worth the wait.
For those of us to whom a cuppa mid show matters, you’ll be pleased to know the Living Van is undergoing a refurb.

It appears to be made from an old railway van, more stripping is required to confirm this The important bit, the stove, is getting some TLC

Its delicate work!!

A walk round the hangars is always worthwhile, the l’eau du castor oil in here is marvelous

The “new” Super Cub has a new identity.

The Edwardians are unique

In the back of this hangar sits the majority of the vehicle collection. Also started by Richard Shuttleworth, there are some unique items in here.

The PT22 and the Magister, same job different continents

Its only when you get up close to Miss Kenya that you realize how big she really is!

Finally, there is something here at Old Warden to keep everyone happy, the Swiss Garden is included in the admission price on Airshow days and is well worth a visit (plus it keeps the better half happy). It provides some excellent photographic opportunities.
