The plane was serial 2054 DC-3A- Manufactured in 1937, registered as N143D painted and usually based at Griffin Spalding Airport in Griffin, Georgia. I imagine a position has opened with the company that had this guy working for them.

I hope Homeland Security doesn't out law the DC-3 as a weapon of mass destruction!

That is just bizarre behavior, sounds like he's off his meds! At least no one was hurt.

That guy sure had a "major malfunction". First time I've heard a DC-3 used as a weapon.

It was a well planned terrorist attack. At least I would bet those fine enforcement officers saw it that way. What were the original officers job..........plumbing inspector, housing inpector, or what?

I hate to hear about stuff like this happening. Aviation is under the microscope close enough without this kind of junk going on. I too am glad nobody got hurt. Them Gooney Bird props can do some damage.

If that was the case, cars would have been banned forever ago.
Too bad stupidity isn't against the law though.
