This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I have a hobby. I like to get signatures of veterans, especially ones that tell me 'war' stories. Doesn't have to be war, just interesting pertaining to the military... particularly aircraft.
Anyway, Dick Cisco autographed my F-105 book, many years ago.
I was looking at what he wrote and he had DFC . Does anyone know the circumstances of him earning the DFC? I only spoke with him for about 5 minutes. Maybe I should have posted his unit and such here. Don't have the book with me right now. An internet search turned up nil.
