I'm not sure if it is my computer or not but the background shot is not centered and all I can see is the Tail of Sentimental Journey (looks like a shot that I'd love to see the whole thing of).

It's your computer. It is a very nice pic. A BIG PIC.
It is there, it is just big and the web site does not automatically resize to the resolution you are at. I can't even see the whole thing at the normal res I have my graphics screen set at without cranking the screen res up, so that is an issue for the webmaster to address. Easiest would be to crop it tighter around SJ and size the site window to a smaller size.

The site has lots of nice pics and info with links to lots of different sites with B-17 affiliations. So very nice in that respect.

Nice pics, thanks for creating the site. I'm glad you included Southern California in your "Southwest" focus, so it'll include PoF's B-17G, plus others here too.

I couldn't forget Southern California! And I need to get back to Tulare and get the B-17 there.

Dunno how familiar you are with CSS, but there is a CSS trick you can use to have the background image scale to the browser window. I used it on the Cincinnati Warbirds website...if you check out the source code you will see it. Essentially, you create a background layer (using CSS) with just the image, and scale the image width 100%. The rest of the content goes on a foreground layer.

It works on any modern browser that supports CSS, which is most of them nowadays.
