Wow, how neat! Wish I has 7.500 extra dollars sitting around.

 Holy cow, they are asking an arm and a leg! Back in 2000 I purchased and donated one of those to Doc. It was probably out of the same warehouse. I remember paying less than $200 plus another 75 or so to ship it up from Texas. Anyway, the Doc group had at least three of them NOS donated by different individuals. One was a bit water damaged. If that were the double parallax it would be worth some money. If I recall the system used one double parallax and 3 or 4 single parallax. Never seen one opened up like that-those are some cool photos. I know they are very heavy to lift. Mine was in the same wood crate and wrapped in preservative paper. It was still a bit oily. I will try to post some pictures later. The cardboard box surrounding the crate had a war bonds emblem on it. :!: Thanks for posting that. It appears that B-29 parts are outperforming any other investments. Ahh to go back in time!

Cool story, wish I could have seen Doc during my Wichita trip last year.

Gotta Love E-Pay! But will it sell, I thought I had a gold mine once, the market said otherwise.

But that is very cool, I love the "guts" pictures. Funny to think all that cool stuff was build on the same site I once worked.

I dunno, does anyone have a Fifi photo front side of the wall aft of the CFC gunner and side scanners? If I remember right, all of the computers were mounted to that wall.

Finally a B-29 thread. I was holding my breath and was about to burst!
