Greeting All, My friend Kevin McAdams mentioned the subject aircraft TB-25N - 4428874A - N9876C -Status Revoked - in an email to me, the other day, and I was surprised that I didn't have a photo of this aircraft in my collection, or any information on her. Anyone have a photo and any details. The Registration Number still appears in the FAA Registry.

Hi Gary,

Anybody that is interested in Mitchells must and I say again must have a copy of “B-25 Mitchell in Civil Service” by Scott Thompson. This plane is listed in his book.

Built as B-25J-15-NC and delivered on July 27, 1944. Initial assignment to Muroc Field, CA. In Oct. 1945, redesignated as a TB-25J and assigned to Hammer Field, Ca. Modified by Hayes Oct. 1954 as TB-25N. Assigned to air guard unit at Minneapolis, MN. Stored at DMA after Dec. 1957. Released for disposal in April 1958. Sold for $2100.00 on Oct. 6, 1958 to Aviation Rental Services assigned as N9876C.

It went through several owners and ended up with Caribbean Cargoes, Miami in 1962. Shows revoked in Dec. 1970 by FAA.
