Nice! But its a bit rich for my pocketbook! Also a bit hard to sneak in the back door without the wife noticing!!!

Oh that?! It's an, um, exercise machine, you've been saying I need to get in shape!

Isn't $6,000.00 a little steep for what is essentially an empty case?

I am so happy that we live in a day and age when anything about a 1940's piston engine could possible be considered restricted in any sense of the word; here's what I get when I try to view that link, and me ebay account is registered in the US to boot:
"Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay."
Not to hijack this thread, but this kind of thing drives me up the wall.....

Probably said drive "Shaft" or cylinder "Jugs" or some other stupid thing that the word NAZI's (or just sloppy programming) have deemed dangerous!!!

Very over priced for a bunch of possible red tag parts, empty inside too, so its not even real, just like an over grown model.
I guess the bids help prove it too.

In addition to being empty, it's not even externally complete. I'm no mechanic, but even I can see the entire ignition harness is missing (and the engine just looks wrong without it.)
How much would a complete but run-out or otherwise non-functional R-1820 go for?
