Amjet Services International?

Fri Sep 25, 2009 11:55 am

Does anyone know who operates this company out of St. Paul, Minnesota? I see where the ownership of a particular warbird was passed to them for one week(!) before it was sold to yet another owner many years ago. I believe it was part of a brokerage deal.

Can anyone explain the purpose/necessity of transfering actual ownership in this manner? Is this standard operating procedure for brokers?

That wouldn't have anything to do with Wally Fisk's Amjet Aircraft Corp. would it?

Actually it is. I just re-read the bill of sale and saw his signature there. I still don't completely understand the logic behind the convoluted transaction though.

Do you share that ignorance then? Or do you have some insight on the need for this type of transaction of ownership during a brokerage deal?

I don't share ignorance with anyone, Rob. I pretty much keep it all for myself!

What I meant was that perhaps the parties involved in the original transaction would prefer that those of us outside the transaction remain ignorant of certain details. That's all.
