Hey Everyone:
I got back from my trip to Colombia. I saw a few warbirdish things there in Bogota. I didnt' see them until I was in the taxi on the way to the airport, and in the Avianca airplane taxiing past. I tried to take as many photos as I could, but I'll have to post them at some point, as they are from the window of the airliner.
What I saw:
Behind a fence was a C-46 Commando
A-20 or A-26 in a Black Paint Job
P-47 with a bubble top (too far away to tell what model it was)
6 DC-3s, 4 of which had the turbo prop conversions
I'll have to post what photos I have here in a day or so. I'm going to return to see my girlfriend there in a month or so again, but I'm glad to be reading the latest and greatest on WIX.
