It has since been off loaded from the trailer, placed on it's landing gear. Today the wings were installed, and the tails were going on as well.

Is it an A model?

Yeah, it is an A model. We are trying to find out any history of it. it was the repair airfram from Warner Robbins AFB.

I've heard you're not supposed to fly any "A" model of anything!
Looks a bit like a kit, insert tab A of Vertical Stabilizer in Slot B of fuselage, being careful to not use too much glue. Make sure angle of Stabilizer is correct, let dry, repeat step for other side! Did it come with a nice set of decals? What unit will she be finished up as? Good for them, that is a nice addition to the collection.

It's 76-0012 I believe.
This served at Bitburg, then Eglin, then 5th FIS, then with the MA ANG before going to Robins.

Man, I'd pay admission to see something like that going down the hi-way. Very cool. :)
