Just in case you are in the San Diego area this Friday

Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:21 am

San Diego IPMS Meeting Friday, 28 August at the Veterans Memorial Center & Museum, 2115 Park Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92101-4792. The doors open at 1830 and the meeting starts at 1930 or so.

- Retired Air Force General Robert Cardenas will give his presentation titled “Back to the Present”. He will discuss his involvement as an Air Force test pilot in two major programs of post-WWII aviation – the development of supersonic flight, beginning with Colonel Stapp’s wild rocket sled ride to Chuck Yeager’s breaking the sound barrier. He will also discuss the development of a heavy-lift long range bomber, which became the YB-49 flying wing and later the B-2. Don’t miss this presentation!

Just got the email on this and I am not missing it! Anyone have questions for me to ask on their behalf?
