Thank you Inspector and sorry that I am late in reply. There would be even more art published but several project are delayed so total number could be over 400 of samples published.

You do great work.

Any chance of Douglas B-26 Invader "Hollywood Hangover"? [Korean War]

That's how I'm going to paint my aircraft.

If I dont die in next five days, it is possible to make something like Invader. In this moment I am overloaded with request- two days before finished material for publisher in Netherland, in this moment work on two different projects. Just to survive all of this and I can get any other project. I allready have two relaxing- Yamamoto G4M and Seagull.

Cheers :P

Impressive work indeed! I have often wondered how you were able to do such great work so fast. Do you use a 3D modelling program and paint on skins... or is it something else entirely? Who does your research too?

Hi Richard,

I am pure 2D man and I do not use anything 3D. In the work I have specific aproach to the layout design and I need sometimes very short time to make fisrt profile from blank scratch. Here you are one fresh sample:

Image

I have develop basic layout in 1.5 days and in total I make four profiles in two days, one quater only for the profile work. When you make basic layout, it is very easy to make any other sample. Simply you just need to change or adjust layers with camouflage colors, markings and dirt and main layers with shapes, shadows, bolts.... stay intact.

Research depend from situation to situation. But in any case I try to contact any archive or researcher for material and I use primary hi resolution scans. In many cases I get material 'only for my eye' but they are so great help in making of profile and at least I can make precisely some subject.

No need to mention how much I have get help from WIX members :P

Cheers :D

Quite an impressive work load for the year! I must be doing something wrong, I seem to take a lot more time, then again, it is getting that first one of the type done that does really eat the time.

I am going to send you the one or two photos that I have of my Uncle's B-29 for a profile that I'd like done. I do not have any color photos, just b&w and unit information.

Yes, my ultimate tool is Adobe Photoshop. Holedigger- many illustrators spent much of time in creating of basic profile layout, I dont know why. So you are not alone. Some two months ago I have make demo to one small group here in Serbia and they are impressed as well in some ten minutes we get fdrom blank canvas, basic airplane shape with some panels, shadows and other details.

No problem about the B-29...

Cheers :P
