Is there anybody on here who can help me or refer me to somebody who can? We've been doing some sleuthing trying to find the missing rotor mast from the Pitcairn autogiro I've been flying (a new one was built from plans for the restoration), the airframe spent many years in Pennsylvania, and it seems possible that the rotor mast ended up in a collection of parts that ended up at MAAM. I'd like to see if somebody could look through the facility and see if it might be laying around (it's a large inverted V of steel tube with the rotor head mount at the top). There were several different versions and plans with different angles, and the restorers picked what they thought was the right one, but it has never had the climb performance we think it should have, and it would be nice if we could find the original one to get a definitive answer. I'd go through the web site but I thought I might be able to find a better connection here.
Thanks,
Andrew
