i wondered this myself till jack's pics, P-38s had all their guns in the nose [no wing guns] so looking at these pics the nose is FULL of cameras. the photo mustangs had their wing guns so they could still duke it out if needed. nice pics as always jack, thanks

The camera ports are on the bottom of the nose. The side port is painted over with the squadron insigina.
