P-39 Wreck in Iceland

Can anyone provide any details of the crash, the pilot, the serial number, any recovered components, etc?

those allison engines really tear the heck out of those things when they crash... :shock:

If you are going to crash a P-39, an Allison Engine is that last thing that goes through your mind! :shock: :wink:
