Help me find the windsock?

Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:32 am

A few years ago at Oshkosh, I purchased a miniature orange windsock (about three inches long, imprinted with "Oshkosh 200x") which I had fastened to my car antenna until it flew away one day on the highway. I've always wanted to replace it, but I have yet to find another windsock like it. Does anyone know where I can purchase miniature novelty windsocks? (And before anyone suggests it, I won't be able to make the journey to OSH this year, so I'm looking for a web shop or museum gift shop)

Anyone know?

did you try the EAA store ?

It's not the most easily searchable catalog on the web, but no, I couldn't find it in the EAA store. Good idea, though.

If you want I can pick one up for you and send it to you, (if I can locate the vendor that sells them), when I am there next week....

P.M. me if you are interested.

Hey Mr. Fox,

I don't know if you still need that Oshkosh windsock or not, but I bought one for you. If you will tell me where to send it, I'll get it headed your way.

I tried PMing you, but I don't know if you got the message or not.

Let me know....

Steve

Thanks, Steve! Just got the message now. I sent you a private message with my snailmail address. Let me know what I can do for you in return.

I love this website!
