Has anybody out there had experience removing a wing from the fuselage of an F-86D? Either info on the procedure or a copy of the manual would be helpful for a friend of mine.
Thanks.

I wish I could be of some "practical" help with your question but my wrenching experience on the 86 is a bit limited. I'm sure Rich Palmer or one of the guys doing Sabre restoration will come on board and possibly have a bit more useful information for you

Do you want to remove the fuselage from the wing?
Or seperate the wings from the center section, that the
fuselage mounts to?
If the D model is like the F model the guy you need to contact
is "Sabremech".
I know that the D model is the Sabredog with a bigger engine
and fuselage but the wing configuration might be the same as
other models.
