Fri Jul 17, 2009 10:18 pm

Via FAH 619 and due to the Anniversary of the so called "Soccer War":

"Some 40 years ago over the Salvadorean skies a young FAH pilot named Cpt. Fernando Soto Enriquez (RIP) with some 400+ Hrs of F4U flying time under his belt shot down 1 P-51 Cavalier poss FAS 404 & 2 Corsairs FG-1Ds. All in one day! Because of his actions the so called 100 Hr war came to a stop. Not a single FAS aircraft crossed the Honduras border after that day!!" The autograph drawing exhibits his FAS P-51 encounter. Drawing by Enrique Pablo del Cabo. Argentina. Lt. Col Fernando Soto Enriquez picture added.
