I'm not sure if that actually qualifies as a doo-hicky! Dangly implies movable.

Transponder Antenna is the small antenna at the top of the photo.
Items on the nose gear leg above the scissors is the Shimmy Dampener. The small container is filled with hyd fluid and then pressurized to 15 psi IIRC.
The 2 tubes with lines from the reservoir are spring loaded pistons under pressure.
Keeps the nose wheel from shaking. The nose wheel is not steerable and you use brakes to steer along with engines.

really nice work balancing light and shadow for some dramatic pictures of ordinary items. You and your camera work them very well.
Only one thing sounds better than an ALLISON, two ALLISONS making over 60 inches!
