Playing Hide and Seek at Geneseo

Mon Jul 13, 2009 9:12 pm

Not sure if anyone else caught these, but I thought it was deserving of it's own thread. I haven't cropped any of the shots so you can see the full sequence.

Upon arrival, the CWH Canso crew decided to play some hide and seek.

Ready, set, go!

I see you!

C'mon out.

Not to be outdone, the crew of the Berlin Airlift took it to the next level.

I think the C-54 started to use the runway within the first foot, but seemed to me that they didn't need the last 1,000 or so.

Really shouldn't be playing "Treetop Flyer" on the radio while coming in to land! They're actually lower than the treetops...is that a bit of a valley off the end of the runway or just a gap in the trees?

It is a huge gap in the trees but with telephoto compression it makes for some great shots.

Cool pics! 8)

Hopefully those pesky anti-109 poles had been removed!
