Anybody going to the Abbotsford airshow in a few weeks? I'm scheduled to take a C-17 up there.

We should be arriving with the C-17 at Abbotsford around 1300 (tomorrow) Thursday.

My dad will be getting into SeaTac tonight and then we'll be heading up around 6 a.m. Friday and will hopefully be staying to check out the departures on Monday morning. After that we may stop by the Canadian Museum Of Flight seeing as it's so close and he's never been there.
Between Oshkosh and this my work is probably gonna send out a search party soon.

The "K" portion means tan
Ker, while the "C" portion means
Cargo. It is a dual use platform that is used for both, hence the KC designation, same as a KC-135.
The next part is a guess. The letters "A" and "T" were already taken, as "A" refers to an "attack" aircraft, while the "T" refers to a trainer. So, this is probably why it is not referred to as an "AT".
