Need Warbird Specialists to Identify this B-25

Okay Warbird Specialists, I have had this photo since about 1979 or 80, and have been trying to figure out zackley which B-25 this is. I have taken a stab at the numbers looks like N36 * * can't tell, or N98 something er other. How about you guys, can ya hep a brother out? Good luck.

You've got better eyes than I do.. I don't see any numbers on the plane.. the left aileron looks a bit tattered too.. the area behind the port side window looks like it's been scrubbed of a number. Where did you see the N36**?

Not all B-25's have a placard holder under the pilot's window or the ram's horn antenna behind the cockpit. And what's the forward-most blade antenna under the glass nose? Maybe that's a distinguishing clue?

Looks like a number at the bottom most curve jut behind the prop arc... Also the wire antenna on the underside of the bombardier section looks interesting.

If you can see N36***, could it possibly be N3675G, aka 'Photo Fanny'?
The earliest photo I can find of her is in 1983, when it was painted as 'Shangri-La Lil'. The external features look similar, anyway. (minus the gun packs on the fuselage)

Looks like "LIMITED" is stenciled on the lower part fuselage, behind the cockpit windows.

Also that the metal on the nose is different than that on rest of the plane. Might be a replacement nose section.

I believe that could likely be 44-29507 AKA "Sarinah" that carried the registry of N3698G.

POF B-25s were Green and gray in that time frame IIRC. 74 or 75 was the 1st I remember,

I believe you are on the money on this When I enlarge the photo it looks like this could be it.

Most likely it's our Mitchell 44-29507 now N320SQ "Sarinah". I received this picture in bw long time ago via one of the B-25 specialists, picture was made in 1978.

More information is welcome!

Coert, Thanks for the verification. I have had this print a long, long, long time and was always perplexed as to the identity of it.

Hi Gary

The picture has interested me for long, since it is the only picture I have from the period that the plane was owned by the late IN Burchinal Jr. Maybe one or more of the forum users have details on that period and Mitchell 44-29507 now N320SQ.
