River Falls, WI Huey

Fri Jun 19, 2009 10:12 pm

I took the Harley out tonight and stopped by the Huey that's parked next to the Vietnam Veterans of America Post 331 building on Hwy 10 between Prescott and Ellsworth, WI. It seems to be in pretty good shape, almost like you could fly it away. I think the locator said it was in River Falls, but it's really out in the sticks.

adflyer,

I need some help with the location of this Huey. It is for the locator. Here is what I have, which isn't much...
ImageAerial Visuals - Location Dossier - Vietnam Veterans Association (VVA) Post 331

Could you provide a location? To do so use the map available via the link above. Zoom in on the location and right click on the location for the lat and lon.

I have started an airframe dossier for this one...
ImageAerial Visuals - Airframe Dossier - Bell UH-1H-BF Iroquois [205] Bell, s/n 74-22438 US Army, c/n 13761
If you don't mind, could you upload a picture of the Huey for the dossier? To do so go to...

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The Huey is technically located in Ellsworth, WI, not River Falls. My parents only live a couple of miles away from this location, so I'm quite familiar with the location. I drove by it only a week ago.

The Huey is located near the Gaslight Bar, at the Intersection of County Road O and Highway 10, on the south side of Highway 10. Closest coordinates I can determine are:

44 degrees 43' 52.8" N
92 degrees 34' 57.8" W
