Is it still the case in the US that Flug Werk P-51 parts are only able to be used on aircraft registered in the Experimental category?

Are they licensed by NAA to build those? Looks like more than a big repair!

Come on... there are already US companies building new fuselage and new wings from scratch... and they have been doing that for a number of years already !

It sure is... just do not know how much of a market there is for such fuselages in Europe. USa seems a logical choice, but there is already fierce competition there.

In the Uk (if I understand correctly) they're not allowed. which probably explains why the Marinell ID is defended so vigorously.

Think it also the problem they are having getting a Fw190 flying in the Uk.
