Now that does sound interesting, except for the "ground up restoration" part. Have you checked with them about pictures?

There are four of five pictures attached to their ad on Barnstormers.

I did not copy them here, because my photobucket account is a real pain in the patootie to use.

Looks a bit rough, but probably a good start for someone.

I'm not a Navion fan, but if that's what you're interested in, go for it.

For $7500? I would daresay it is a good deal. If you do not have the 50k or so that a flying Navion would cost, but can get a little money here and there, and have the patience for a long term project, it is a good deal.

I have learned and concluded, with my PT-19 project, that even if it never flies, the process is what makes this activity interesting. I have gone to many places in this country looking and purchasing parts.

I have benefitted from the generosity of Steve Dennis who donated parts for my project, and I have met great people who have sold me parts for my project.

So, little by little, you can save an airplane [not actually you, Ryan, but anyone who has always said "I would love to own a warbird"]

Doesn't sound too bad...if the basic airframe is sound.
Thewre are a lot of semi-abandoned Navions around so you could probably buy a parts ship for less than buying parts fron Univair or whoever sells Navion spares.

Go for it. If you run out of money, patience or spousal support ...you'd still have a nice static airframe fit for a museum...probably a tax write off.

If that was in Belgium, I'd buy it. Love Navions and $7500 is a steal!
