Looks like it's a plantation now (Google Earth) if my co-ordinates are correct

many thanks for posting the pics tony. note the pic with the aircraft on fire next to the pby on the ramp... looks like a toasting betty bomber. btw, that shot was taken on morotai island, the rest sawar drome new guinea. dad earned the bronze star their after an ambush & cleared the entire rifle company out of their 1 man at a time. i have a piece of japanese aircraft skin that dad pitched as as junk in the garbage, but my oldest brother luckily found & retrieved it.
