Great find Brandon :)

Which does bring an opportunity for a question I had.

What are the purposes of the fins on the prop hub on Argus powered German birds of that area ?

It seems they have a slight angle :?: Does it powers the pich meachanism ?

The differential in speed between the dome and the prop hub turns a pump I believe. As I recall the system works to maintain a fixed blade angle of attack rather than a fixed RPM.

The Zlins with the inline engines have the same configuration.

No they aren't. They are Do-217's. Look at the one in the same picture in the side view, it has a tail wheel.

Does Paul Allen have the FW-189 from Russia that was being restored to airworthy in the UK? I heard he did , but I am unsure.
