Who is this inside the nose of Annie?

Why it's none other than Dave "in the cave" Hanson...

Yep, he's the only one that we could shove through that small access hole.

Annie, Annie, Annie....

Pooner might get more work done if'n he did a 180 degree compass correction there and took command of the ladder positioning....

How are you guys going to transport the fuselage? Will you de-mate the center section, or put the whole thing into a tilted jig as used to transport Beech 18's for width requirements?

Gary,
You should be a old hand at doing Harpoon nose jobs by now.

Thanks Matt!....were you smiling when you wrote that???? Oh, by the way, we did have a warner ladder there just in case!

Pat, I/we were thinking about separating the fuse. center section...it is do-able, but VERY labor intensive....There is a crew from Fl that have done this three different times...After evaluating the situation last week, I believe that we are going to try tilting the aircraft....With my superior hillbilly sliderule, it looks that I can keep the load under what is concidered a "super load" under 16' wide and 16' tall...Need to have checked out with a qualified-bonified engineer though...
