Thinking of LSFM this weekend

As this is the weekend that would have been the Spirit of Flight Airshow were it not for Ike I am taking a few minutes to think of all my friends in Texas that are still working hard at the clean up and restoration of Lone Star Flight museum back to normal along with all of the other areas of TX hard hit.
Larry Gregory and many folks on and not on this board have done amazing work over the last few months rebuilding - but please remember that there is still a long way to go. Because the museum was way more than just a building and collection of machines to us I am confident that it will all come back together but there is a still a lot work ahead.

Hang in there guys - Wish I could be down there and doing more to help in the effort.

In place of this years airshow, which was just not practical under the circumstances, they are selling rides today at the museum so if you are in the area or know of someone looking for a once in a lifetime thrill take a trip down there and support the rebuild.
