This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

With the many posts about different cties that Wixers are going to visit and then invaribly ask what is there to do aviation wise when they visit .I thought a forum just to list up coming air shows and aviation events might be helpful to many.

Is this a new one? I'm originally from Bloomfield, Iowa, just north of Kirksville on Hwy 63. Do they have a website?

For aviation events in general, I usually post under the Events/Gathering section of this forum. If you're looking for specific information on airshows, you can't go too wrong checking over at
http://www.airshowbuzz.com.

One can do better with the
Fence Check Airshow Database. (Yes, I'm biased since I maintain it.)

Liza,
How's the pilot / operator presence on that forum? That's one thing I like about ASB.

The site is geared more toward photography so we have a broad mix.
If you're looking for information about airshows (or aerial events), I truly believe it's one of the most comprehensive databases for North America. The database is updated several times per week as performer schedules become available, a show cancels, etc. Having the map for each location along with show website (if available), known attendees (with links to their sites), and a weather link really does help in planning.
If you're looking for just chit chat and speculation as to what may occur concerning airshows, then ASB is the better choice.
