Hulk at the Southwest Aerospace Museum, 1982

Mon Apr 13, 2009 4:54 pm

I want to repeat a question I asked in the AT-21 thread since it might not get noticed there --

In 1982 there was a rotted partial airframe at the edge of the Southwest Aerospace Museum near Carswell AFB in Fort Worth, TX. This is the same museum that had the B-36, B-58, etc.

I believe it was a tri-gear wooden twin, and it may have had Fairchild rudder pedals (leading me to wonder if it was an AT-21).

Does anyone know what it was?

No sooner did I post this message then my original question in the AT-21 thread was answered.... An AT-21 it is!
