2008 recent B-36 sounds

No its not a B-36 but just listen. It makes you think its a B-36 coming. I have to say this is my favorite airplane sound of all time: More chills down the spine.

Almost sounds like a B-36! These beasts are rare as well today! A shame but maybe a few can be preserved.

EXACTLY!! The commonality between the sounds of those aircraft is uncanny, even more so with the Bear being a bomber.

Bear-Hs - my only experience with the Bear family - match the B-36 sound precisely. Further, I don't know if it's SOP, but they did their runups in the chocks! LOUD! Think I was deaf for 5 minutes after that.

Hey, Wade. I would love to get up close to a Bear and to see and hear one fly! For years wished a Bear would have made an appearance at the NAS JRB Willow Grove air show and that is about as far fetched as it gets, but it would have been quite the site and quite the draw. A Breguet Atlantic made an appearance in 2000. It threw me off seeing one of those in our neck of the woods.

I love that "slow mo" look at the beginning of the video while on approach.

Enjoy the Day! Mark
