A-12 Oxcart Program

Sun Apr 12, 2009 8:47 am

Most of y'all know I am pretty interested in the CIA's
A-12 Oxcart program of the 1960s. Last June some
of the men involved spoke publically about their deeds
at a symposium hosted at Battleship Park in Mobile, AL.

The rest of the world is now getting interested. Below is
a link to an LA Times story about the Area 51 activity.
T D Barnes will be interviewed on FOX News tomorrow
morning.

What of the "round wing" version? Anything surfacing? Can't believe the SR-71 shape started as it is now. Maybe so.

I have been out to the Collins crash site near Wendover - one of those x-files-ish adventures!

You can get copies of the June 1968 A-12 Flight Manual on CD for a few dollars.
