I was in Oklahoma City last weekend, so I took a drive by the Tinker AFB Heritage Park. It is fenced, but open during daylight hours. You do not have to enter the base to visit, and there is even a restroom available. Everything appears very well cared for as far as outdoor displays go.
All of the pictures I took are at:

Nice place for a quick visit if your passing through.

Andy

That B-47 sure looks unique in the overall grey scheme.

Thanks for new pictures.
There is also a T-38 across the interstate at the information center.

I went racing by there a few years back on my way to "Bama" but didn't have time to stop. Thanks for the pics. Castle is done up similarly but with a ton of planes.

Nice Pix! If anyone is coming through let me know. I can get you through the gate to shoot the beautiful EC-121 and give you a tour!

Very cool.
I am in OKC often, but for whatever reason, I've never been by Tinker.
Thanks for posting these!

I'll be in OKC next month for the 73rd Bomb Wings reunion. Think that they're planning on going to Tinker.
