One of the best RAF photos ever from WW2

Nice shot, but I think you'll find that's in Canada... and RCAF... and maybe even in the fifties.
Not to blow my own horn too much, but I still think I prefer my own Harvard/Texan shot...
.... nothing beats those South African water skiing Harvard/Texan shots of a few years ago though!
Cheers,
Richard

Nice photo, but the markings on those Canadian Harvards look like wartime Mk II's. Post war had Maple leaves to my knowledge.

Hmmmm...nice pic....kinda preferential to my own from a few years ago over Denver....

The little black line in the above photo under the wheel of the T-6 is actually Joe Thibodeau waiting outside of camera range for his turn in Crusader to be photographed....or maybe NOT so out of camera range....but I did'nt see him when I took the photo...
And later we shot THIS....

Looks Like Dick Jones in Spanish Lady in the Denver shot. Really nice man! Don't C&P the first [img].

Bingo....it is Dick Jones, the other SNJ is Jack Cronyn....Dick sold his T-6 a few years ago to someone in the Pacific Northwest if I heard right (would love to know who and where its located)...Dick now flies the B-25 'Barbie III' during the summer months...

Is the reason the Harvards didn't use the gear doors because they would freez(i.e. stick) to the airframe and cause gear ups? Seems like I've heard that but not sure. Thanks.
