Sun n Fun, Any tips?

I'm looking at visiting Sun n Fun for the first time and travelling in from the UK, should I plan on going for the week? Do different things happen on different days? Anyone got any helpful info?

So if you notice anything of particular interest, build your plans around that. Otherwise, a general suggestion is to visit early in the week, as many participants and show aircraft tend to be gone by later in the week.

Shannon and I arrive in Tampa on Wednesday, we will not be going to the show until Thursday though.

So far we want to....
Thursday, Either Splash In at Kermits or Airshow in Lakeland.
(I really want to see the Red Bull BO-105 in action)
Thursday Night, Seaplane Banquet At Kermits.
Friday, Leewards if we can bum a ride, and stay for the night Airshow
Saturday, Relax, and wander the grounds watch the show.
Sunday-Wednesday, Disney
