Need to change the "p" in Camp to an "o". The title makes more sense that way.

It doesnt look photoshopped to me. I think it looks pretty cool!

I've never seen an A-6 painted that way but I do remember
seeing USN F-4s in "Lizard Camo". After the USN got the
Top Gun program up and running the kill ratio began to be
more favorable for the USN vs NVN. There was a story at
the time to the effect that the NVN had a standing order not
to "engage grey Phantoms". Thus came the camo on navy
planes. Don't know if that was accurate, but it made the
rounds.

We did up a few Bugs in desert camo a few years back (like oh...'round 1991 or so

) Looked pretty good and would wash right off with A/C soap and a scrub brush...like it was never there

Rob, I'm the guy that posted this on Hyperscale... do you have any shots of those camouflaged Bugs, perchance?
I was absolutely stunned to see this lizard-scheme A-6 pop up out of nowhere- strange camo schemes are always interesting to me.
Cheers,
Lynn
