MOH gathering this past week

Sun Mar 29, 2009 8:44 am

Howdy fellas...been working my butt off for the past several weeks, but caught a quick blip on the news about a gathering of MOH recipients. Anyone have any details about the event? A list of recipients there?

Mods: sorry for putting this here...if it does not belong, then I guess you will move it :P

Thanks ahead of time...

Mod edit: Various political posts deleted.

Gentlemen, if you can't leave the politics alone, leave the forum alone.

It's warbirds here.

Thank you.

Dang. I had no idea this question would get turned into something ugly. I saw a bunch of MOH recipients at the Tomb of the Unknown. Read where one gentleman was actually a Pearl Harbor survivor...got shot up pretty badly. I believe he is the oldest surviving MOH recipient.

All I wanted to know was what was the occasion for them gathering at the Tomb of the Unknown. Sorry, but I did not mean anything political about it at all.

I guess if this is gonna turn into some sort of political pi$$ing match, then James I guess you can go ahead and delete this post.

Nothing wrong with asking the question, IMHO. Unfortunately some posters can't avoid making political remarks. The instruction from Scott is "Don't". It's not hard.

Thank you for the note and link BK. A lot of people in this country could learn a thing or two from that community! All of the Medal of Honor recipients have earned our utmost repsect and should be treated accordingly.
