I'm looking for the name of these boxes found in a B-17 (i'm sure for the plane).

In the right photo of the B-17 is the Command ARC-5 radio set that includes three receivers (BC-543, BC-544, BC-545) and two transmitters (BC-548, BC-549).
My guess in the left black and white photo in front of the Command ARC-5 radio set is the long wave AVS set (Air To Surface Search Set) SCR-521 Indicator Unit with related boxes.
Do you have more photos of the installation?

your top 2 arrows and bottom arrow are not pointing to any boxes, but to structure of the plane.
The first on is pointing to some of the control cables for the elevator, elevator trim, rudder, and rudder trim.
The next is part of the cut out for the radio room upper window
the bottom arrow is pionting to the Right center bomb rack.

Note the instruments that are to the right of the SCR-521, just left of the seat back.
Top to bottom looks like a clock, altimeter and PDI.

You have posted a shot of the operator’s indicator for AN/APQ-7 Eagle radar. Judging from the ancillary boxes on the wall, it is NOSMEAGLE; an early blind bombing attempt to coordinate Eagle with the optical bomb sight. There were not many B-17’s at Alconbury on VE-Day with this installation. The bulk of the European NOSMEAGLE testing effort was with B-24’s. -Adrian
