The first Storch's I saw were @ OSH in 1990 and they had flown a distance to get there...v-e-r-y slowly.
I did not realize at the time how rare they are. They are my favorite STOL a/c.

The scheme represents an aircraft that was one of Hitler's personal transports:

I think he was considering a pseudo-N69QF scheme, but decided on the 'less is more' approach.
