Bacon Super 6 (or Six)

Sun Mar 08, 2009 3:31 pm

A long time ago, ISTR seeing a pic of a T-6 with a tricycle gear arrangement & tip tanks (looked like straight Cessna 310 tanks) & maybe a couple of other mods. I'm pretty sure it was called a Bacon Super 6. Google comes up empty, except for a bunch of bacon recipes. Anyone know what I'm talking about & have any info? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Funny thing tho, I did a search on WIX for it before I posted & came up empty! The pic I remember seeing, IIRC, the a/c was painted green & black camo with the red stars.

It is still sitting at Whitman Airport. The owner is still in jail I think.

Did you use the searchword bacon? That's how I found it when I was trying to fix Steve's glitch? :D
